Headteacher's Welcome
A warm welcome to Earlham Primary School, where learning extends far beyond the classroom. Our school is a nurturing and inclusive environment in which children thrive, supported by a happy, safe and well-resourced setting.
Ambition and high expectations underpin all that takes place, inspiring every child to aim high, work hard and believe in their potential.
Surrounded by extensive grounds, pupils enjoy a rich outdoor environment, with access to playgrounds, a sports Multi-Use Games Area, gardens and dedicated environmental spaces that enhance both learning and wellbeing.
At Earlham, our dedicated team of staff, which includes specialist teachers, is deeply committed to providing an education that inspires curiosity, nurtures confidence and supports every pupil to achieve excellence.
We are proud to offer a wide range of enrichment opportunities designed to broaden children’s horizons and foster a love of learning. From sports and arts clubs to music and drama programmes, as well as language and art activities, alongside events, trips and outdoor experiences, Earlham pupils are encouraged to explore their interests, discover new passions and develop their individual talents.
This year, we are especially proud to be working in partnership with the prestigious Wigmore Hall, a world‑renowned centre for chamber music and music education, providing our pupils with exceptional opportunities to experience live performance, develop their musical understanding and be inspired by world‑class artists.
Our school is beautifully nestled between wide green open spaces, creating a calm and inspiring setting for children to learn and play. Located in N22, just a short distance from Alexandra Palace, we benefit from a unique blend of natural surroundings and rich cultural opportunities.
In recent years, Earlham has been transformed through the opening of our modern building (in 2020) and the creation of expansive outdoor learning spaces (in 2021).
Our pupils now benefit from excellent facilities, including dedicated rooms for art and design, reading, cookery, music and performance, as well as a multi‑use games area (MUGA) within our beautifully landscaped playground.
We are incredibly fortunate to have a spacious outdoor environment that promotes exploration, curiosity and wellbeing, including a dedicated Forest School where children learn through hands‑on activities that build resilience, teamwork and problem‑solving.
To support our families, we provide high‑quality wraparound care before and after school. Our provision offers a safe, engaging and nurturing environment with enjoyable activities, healthy snacks and opportunities for social interaction, giving parents flexibility and reassurance throughout the school day.
We are proud of the strong partnerships we have developed with families, local organisations, cultural institutions and the wider community. Together, we create a supportive network that enhances learning and ensures every child thrives.
Children have only one childhood, and we believe their primary school years should be filled with wonder, inspiration and memorable learning experiences.
If you would like to visit and experience the warmth, energy and sense of community that make Earlham so special, we would be delighted to meet you.
